I DON'T KNOW HOW TO POSE. WILL YOU HELP ME?

YES! I am the boudoir expert. I don't expect you to know how to pose at all. I got you! I will direct you in every way - from your facial expression down to pointing your toes. You will not have to question what to do next.

I WOULDN'T EVEN KNOW WHAT TO WEAR. CAN YOU HELP ME?
Once we finish glamming you up- we will go through wardrobe options. You don't have to worry about shopping - I do that for you! I have an entire client closet full of lingerie in sizes xxs-6x and over 200 pieces to choose from. There is something for every shape and size! When it comes to styling- There is SO much to choose from!

WHAT ABOUT HAIR AND MAKEUP? I AM NOT GOOD AT DOING MY OWN.
No worries! I am not only your photographer, but I am a professional hair and makeup
artist as well! We will spend the first hour getting to know each other while finding YOUR look. whether that be more of a natural look or dark and sultry. We just want to enhance your beauty- not change it. In some cases where I may have multiple sessions in a day- I will call in some extra hands to assist. I work with a team of amazing associate hair and makeup artists.

WILL YOU SHARE MY IMAGES PUBLICALLY?
You may look at my private boudoir page and get nervous that your images will be shared for everyone to see. BEFORE your session- and that is totally fine. I will NEVER share your private images without consent from you. But 9 times out of 10 - AFTER your session and AFTER you see all of your images- you will WANT to share them. Well at least the images approved for social media. Most of the nervousness is -what will people think or what if I don't like the way I look? I can tell you that most people fall in love with themselves for the first time- or all over again after this experience. THAT is WHY I love the boudoir experience. Finding yourself esteem again, taking a leap and conquering fears to find yourself and self -love.

HOW MUCH OF MY BODY WILL YOU EDIT?
My general rule is I want to show you how your friends see you. Things like blemishes and bruises are not who you are and will be immediately removed. Cellulite and stretchmarks will be lightened and smoothed so they aren't as noticeable, and I do not edit your body type. I will use my posing expertise and pose you in the most flattering ways! If you request some nipping and tucking, I can do that in post editing ahead of time or after you see your proof gallery.

I did this to help me get back to loving myself. I struggle with anxiety and depression and full gathered of how I look. This was a birthday present I did for me. I wanted all black sexy confidence and when I told Kim of my idea -she nailed everything I wanted. Her patience and her thought if I moved slightly and it wasn’t plan on pulling it into the photo and they way she was total hype man mode from the second I walked into the room left it as such a wonderful experience. First ever boudoir shoot; nervous but super excited. Got my hair and makeup done, through out that entire process I became even more excited and felt so comfortable. Kim helped with picking outfits that mixed with my pieces and hers, and that made me feel beautiful and confident. Before the end of my shoot I knew I wanted to do more! It is SO hard for me to pick just one favorite image and that definitely speaks volumes. As a plus size girl I researched several photographers in the area before booking a session. Kimberly Clancy made me feel SO comfortable the entire session, even when my belly was hanging out of a piece of lingerie. And if feeling confident when you’re almost naked in front of a camera isn’t enough, she really knew how to pose my body to get the best angles in the best lighting. I love my body, my partner loves my body but showing that off in front of a stranger with a camera was not something I was sure I could do and with her help, it was honestly one of the most fun and empowering things I’ve ever done! I left the session feeling like I made a new friend, I was so comfortable!

So this is only one of my favorites, but part of why this is one of my favorites is because it’s from my very first boudoir shoot! I went into it feeling kind of eh, I was heavier than I’m comfortable at and i had never worn lingerie before other than a cute matching bra and panty set. I was shockingly so comfortable with Kim and just letting her take my pictures in my most vulnerable state. I left my first session with this euphoric feeling I had NEVER felt before! When she sent me my sneak peek photo I was in tears; “this is me?!?!” I said out loud because I couldn’t believe it! Then I got the rest of the photos and was just floored! From that day forward I have felt a sense of self love I had never known possible. After growing up struggling with my weight, being bullied, and literally hating my body, for the first time in 30+ years I learned what it was like to see myself through a clean lens showcasing my true beauty, flaws and all! Best decision I’ve ever made!
